Chris,

You lucky guy. I would have loved to see largies that early. Too bad they weren't feeding otherwise you would have had a great fishing story to tell. The ranger looks good, what does it do about 50's.

I been keeping a secret but Im busting to tell so here it goes. The last two weekends I have been smacking the largemouth on Lake Washington. Last Saturday I landed six and missed one, they were 2.3, 2.5, 3.3, 4.5, 4.6, and 6.7. This wekend was a little less productive but none the less fun with a 3.3 and a 5.10 and lost a 4-5 + and saw a 4+ fish. The locations I will keep secret.  Hint, the water temps have been 53-57. If you know where the largies hang out hit them now.

Nice fish Kent. I'm jealous as well. Hard not having a boat right now-its like not having a right hand. Spring is here and I can't go until Friday when I head to Silver.

Russ,

I am so offended that you think my boat would run in the 50 mph range!!! You must have I-Class buyer's remorse and be jealous. When I get 10 hours on that motor and can get over 4800 rpms, I should be able to run low 70s tournament loaded...  Wink

Thanks guy, I've just had a good start this year although I haven't caught a smallie yet. In fact Lake Washington is the only place I've caught them. I was at Silver on Tuesday and manage only one bite ( yikes ) the fish came charging at me so I was unalbe to get my hook into her very well and she shook off after only a few seconds but I got a glimps of her and she was HUGE ! Was at Lake Terrel today and only got one fish to follow and at Cassidy last weekend I got zip so Lake Washington is saving my fishing soul.

What model Ranger and what size motor Sarge?  Low 70's tournament loaded, 250-300 XS?  Cheesy  Can't wait to see it.

Chris B,

You better subtract about a 100 horses from that. Sarge was just messing with me. That would be a 140 Evinrude? Right Sarge. What will the old Hankinator boat do Sarge 60?

Ok Ok Ok... So maybe I have Ron's old 1987 Ranger. It's a 17 1/2 footer with a 140 Evinrude. It probably does 51-52 with just me in it...

You called me out, Baker!!!  Tongue
