Had a good day on Chambers in Lacy yesterday.  Fished from 7-5, would have started at 5am but alas they do not open the gate until 7am. The security guy told me they have no plans to open any earlier.         Anyway I nailed 7 largies and lost 2. Big one went 3.9 then 2.4 and rest were 1-1.5 . Tried jigs, Texas rigs, tubes,  spinners, and drop shot all without a bite.    Then the epithny (spell) hit me SPLIT SHOT with 8inch leader and 4inch worm. All fish came from docks and close to shore lilly pads. Talked to guys in two other boats and they had no fish and were amazed I had finnessed my fish. Water temp. was 56 and got up to 60 until clouds came in. All in all a good day - good weather  and got fishin the boat. * Hooter
