BTW,  does anyone know anything about the Crappie fishing in Banks?  Any info is appreciated.

Most of the Crappie that I have caught have come under the Devils Punch bowl bridge. They stack up under there in the summer and at times you can see them just under the water.

1st - go really fast in your boat, trim waaay up
2nd - Hit a huge wake and go airborne, the higher the nose goes up, the better.
3rd - When the boat stops, look in your pants.  You'll find lot's of crappie!  Shocked
