Larry,

Great idea. Since some of us will probably arrive late friday after a hard work week, the wives will love you for it.

Larry,

The 6 am start is good for us, but I don't think my wife would be as excited as those of us who normally fish touneys if we end up fishing until 4 pm, especially if it's really hot.

I'd like to see 2 or 3 at the latest. 2 would be better.

(I don't know how late you guys usually fish for the J&J)

Amen,

To two or three at the latest. Normally a boiler this time of year. We don't need anyone getting heat stroke.

I have to second the later start and an early weigh in. Remember, it's for the wives - we get to fish the rest of the year.

Rob,

I'd fish until dark if the TD would let us on a regular tourney, but I am just praying that my wife makes it through Sunday and lets us weigh our fish without giving up early.

(I hope my wife doesn't see this a la Wolsky's post of a few months ago.)

HEY Larry,  since I am now a bootless..er...ahhh...I mean a boatless person (see General Topics) I called CPR and cancelled our reservations there for the J&J Tourney.  So it is taken care of.

Crap, sorry to hear that.  Maybe you want to hold on to that reservation tho.  Maybe they'll find your boat, or somebody in the club could help out.

Larry, late start, early end is fine by me.  This is a casual, fun thing.  No need to be all die-hard about it.  Heck, it's just as fun, if not funner, to hang out at the campsite with everyone than it is to bake in the sun catching dinks (although that can be a kick too).
