Silver Lake

Hey all,

Hit Silver Lake again today and did pretty well. Caught six fish and lost two. The biggest was 3.3 lbs. and the smallest was 1.9  lbs. The bite is very light, you have to watch your line to detect the bite. I did not feel any of these fish pick up the bait. I used nothing but tube baits all day. The water was 49 degrees at 6:30am and at 5:00 it was 58 degees in some places. Mostly the temp hovered around 55-56 degees all day. NO RAIN, YEA!

Well thats it for now.

Way to go Daryl, I've heard that the fish are starting to wake up.  The largest so far that I've heard of was caught last week.  8 lb 4 oz by the old saw mill.  I can't wait to get down there.  The other fishing reports agree with your light bite,  fish have been swimming toward the boats with the baits making it hard to get a good hook set.  Should be a good ice-breaker tournament this year if the weather holds.

A local guy, I can't remember his name, but I can find out if you want.  Also got a price of $3.50 for the buzzbaits that you were interested in.  It would be three and four blades.  Talk to you on Thursday.
