Guess I'll start the post fish-in results from what I remember.
It was a clear, hot and sunny day on Lake Sawyer, and the fishing was tough. There were some smaller fish caught through most of the day, most under a pound, and they were not that plentiful. Larry had the most total weight at 2.03 pounds, and I had the Big Fish with a SM at 1 lb 9 oz skipping a weightless Senko near a shallow dock.
Everyone should chime in with their own weights.
The people at the fish-in were Derek and a buddy of his named John, Larry, Jose, Rodney, Dan, Carl and myself.
The lake was nice and smooth until 11 AM when the wakeboarders, water skiers and tubers came out. Then the waves started and that was the end of the peace and quiet we all enjoyed before 11.
We decided to get off the lake at 2, due to the tough bite, waves, and the heat, and we ended the day with Dan's famous chili dogs, cheese, onions, condiments and sodas.
A nice day but the bite was tough.
