Tournament season rapidly approaching

Alright gentlemen its now March and the start of bass season is upon us ( ya I know you can catch them all year ).  Im gonna start really diving into a new website design to make our club stand out amongst the others around, I'm also gonna try some new stuff out this year in regards to tournament prizes.  So if you'd like to find out what the plan is come to a meeting or show up at the tournaments.

While I know tournaments are only one aspect of a club I want to put out a challenge to every club member to try and attend more tournaments and club function this year.  It is my opinion that these events are what make our club special.

We all joined this club for different reasons, but the one thing that rings true in all of us is our desire to bass fish.  So whether its talking about fishing at club meetings,  eating delicous chili dogs after a fish-ins, or trying to compete in club tournaments... LETS JUST FISH!  Its what we all love isn't it?

Motivational Speech Over

Well put Troy.  You stated my very goals for this season.

The limiting factors, for me at least, are schedule (work) and finances.  With the increase in payroll taxes and higher medical costs, I lost over $300 a month starting in January.  No raise this year, just a friendly reminder that I was fortunate to have a job when so many others don't.

But in spite of these challenges, I intend on participating more at every opportunity.  There are great people in this club that I always enjoy seeing and sharing in new bass adventures with.  So challenges be dammed, I'm all in.....
