Fished Meridian from 1-8 today and had a pretty good day. Water temp was in the mid 60's. I was hoping to sight fish, but didn't see any beds plus there was just enough breeze to make it tough to see the fish/beds anyway. So I fan casted around docks and managed 3 smallies from 2-3.2lbs and a largie that went over 4lbs and lost a 2lb largemouth. I picked up Dan at 4pm and he managed his first fish in two years...a 1.5lb largie. We did see some cruising largemouths in the shallows when there weren't any breeze, but they weren't interested in anything we were throwing at them.
