This was a lot of fun last year, and this year should be even better! 1000 Dollar big fish, 80% payback, tons of raffle prizes, Skeeter Real Money, Free Donuts, Coffee, Milk, and Hot Dogs and Chips after weigh-in! Check it out at www.Evergreenbassclub.com
Oh, Ron Hobbs Jr will be the official MC,(he's not fishing this year)! See you guys there.

This was a fun event last year. But must warn that it was the toughest tourney I had ever fished. Very few fish caught, except for Hobbs team. Fished my A'' off with no return.

But must say the donuts were great.

Tournament is held way to early.

Mark M went out to Sammamish the past few days and he said that the water is so high that the docks are under water. Tough to launch the boat by yourself. just fyi

Yeah,
I TRIED to launch there today.  All of the docks were under water.  With 6" - 12" of water  you have to wade thru to even get to the wood part of the dock which was 3" -6" under water.  After trying to fight it for 15 mins, I figured Washington was the better bet.  Got there about 9:45 and left at 2pm.  Got 3 fish all over 3lbs. and had a 4th come undone.  Worked some new water today like always and was pleasantly rewarded with a FAT 3lb 10oz smallie.

FYI, the date on the flyer post on the website is not correct (should be Feb 16th.......). It will be changed shortly......Darn Frontpage!
I hear of some nice fish being caught out of Sammamish already (over 4#), so it is not as tough as a few people talk it up to be......and the big fish was 3.72 last year even. It will be a lot of fun, and the entry fee is less than gas over to Banks and back (wow)!

I sure hope not.... I think last year was a fluke thing with the nice day we had. Kinda shut some of the fishing down....but the hot dogs will even be better after fishing!

Brian,

I agree. Last year was real strange when over half the field blanks, it doesn't make it very fun to get just one bite like we did. That was the tuffest tourney I had ever fished without a bite. My partner had one bite for one fish in the last hour and he knows that lake like Hobbs does and he was just baffled.

I like Lake Sam and have done well there in the past as well and I was stumped.

The tournament was well organized and run very well.

Hopefully the fishing will be better this year!!!
