Something to start thinking about since we'll be voting soon, right?

April (Draw)             Banks
May (Points 1)          Chelan
June (Points 2)         Tri Cities
July (J & J)               Potholes
August (Points 3)      Washington
Sept. (Points 4)        Roosevelt
October (Team)        Silver

If you noticed, some changes that might make it fun.  Now that the team T is two days, why not.  Banks is fun in April as well.

Some good suggestions, Terry. I like the order. Washington in August might do away with any low participation rates and allow those who have a vacation planned in August to participate without breaking the bank.

Larry, Ron was out on WA while we were in Vancouver and slayed 'em.  Seafair is early in August.  I just wanted to shake things up.

I am throwing this schedule into the mix, mixing it up a bit.

April- (DRAW) Sammamish (Not far for New non-boaters)
May- Washington or potholes
June- Riffe or Alder (Always wanted to fish a tourney on Alder, had a fun time there last year with Lyle)
July- (J and J) Banks
August- Duck Lake (Close, vacation spot, etc.)
September- Potholes
Oct- (TEAM) Silver

I love Banks in April  great choice
Chelan in May, should be awesome, get the early spawn bite and the prespawners on the cruise
Potholes in June.  I have never  fished it at that time of the year and would be alot of fun
Washington for the Jack and Jill.  Close to home, good fishing, wives can enjoy staying in there own bed at night.
Tri cities in August.  Lots of water to fish, great weather.
Silver in September.  The water will start to cool and the bite will be picking up.
Team tourney on Washington or Sammamish

Then again, for me, any tourney anywhere is always great.  Just love getting out and having fun with the club.

My suggestions:

April- The Pend Oreille River-30+lbs for 5 fish
May-Potholes-1st or 2nd week can't be beat anywhere
June-Roosevelt
July-Chelan-1st or 2nd week due to heavy feeding after spawn and catching 5 over 5lbs in two days
August-Tri-Cities
September- Washington
October-Banks-Have had 50 fish days here over 2lbs

My .02

I will be at this meeting.  I will not fish Washington in June, July or August.  Just unwilling to battle crowds at my age.
April - Silver
May - Potholes or Washington
June - Chelan or Banks
July J & J - Banks
August - Rosey
September - Potholes
October Team - Silver

Anyone know, in our Game Department's infinite wisdom, if they're going to expand the senseless ban on largemouth fishing during tournaments, just maintain the restrictions on the bodies of water that don't need it, or come to their senses and quit the useless bans altogether?  Might make a difference on lake selection, if say, they decide to ban largemouths on Potholes, for instance.

April-   1st choice- Banks...sounds good to me Mark...lot's of big smallies and aggressive largies-however, there always seems to be a lot of people who won't go over the pass because they seem to be scared of the threat of snow.
         2nd choice- Moses Lake

May-  1st choice-Potholes
        2nd choice  Pend Orielle River

June- 1st choice -Chelan
        2nd choice- Roosevelt

July- J&J  1st choice- Roosevelt
              2nd choice- Banks

Aug- 1st choice- Columbia River- Tri- Cities
       2nd choice- Potholes

Sept- 1st choice- Potholes
        2nd choice- Roosevelt

Glenn,

I read through the proposed rule changes, and I didn't see anything that would change bass tournaments. The state is proposing to separate largemouth and smallmouth bass and make new limits. Details are in the link Larry provided. I actually like the new length and bag limits being proposed...

So does that mean they're lifting the ban on largemouths on Banks and Tri-Cities? (Ya, I know, read the pdf, but I don't have the time right now).

Good question, Glenn. I've always wondered why the largemouth bans have never had to be listed in the regulations... I doubt they will lift the ban, even though WDFW said they would consider after 2-3 years... Of course, if there was a difference to be seen, it would tak 5-7 years AT LEAST to see it, but, DON'T GET ME STARTED!  Smiley
