First fish of the year!

This is my first fish of the year....a 6lb 10oz LM caught March 17 on a black and blue jig- Exact lake location TBA at the next meeting when I turn in my greenslip.

Awesome fish Bob. Off to a great start for the year. Can you imagine 5 of those at the Delta last weekend would have givin you a 33.125 pound string and only good enough for 3rd place on the 3rd day. Great job and please try not to do that at the open this year OK..........

Yes, it's actually me Ron- I apologize for the poor quality.  My buddy from church took the picture, and he did the best he could do under the conditions using my camera phone. It was raining so hard at the time of the picture, I thought for sure Noah would be stopping by to say hi in his Ark.  

I have fished in a ton of really rainy conditions before, but this was flat ridiculous....just ask any of the guys who fished at the Silver Lake tourney or the ABA at Lake Washington that Saturday....it was ugly!
