Relocation?

Hey folks.....with the recent Hurricane and the repercussions expected.....$3.50+ per gallon fuel.....and increased costs across the board.....should we switch from Tri-Cities to a west side venue?
Now is the time to change as with all reservations we have to give them notice.
I know this played a part in the Chelan tourney with only ten boats, also with school starting and hunting season I would hate to get out there and have 3 boats and have to pay the resort for 12 spots.
So lets hear your thoughts and make the descision soon. Thanx! Larry.

I think we should stick with the Tri-Cities since it is the last venue of the year.  It  is a great fishery and even though things are getting a little more expensive, people can still get more creative by carpooling more people and maybe cramming 3-4 people in a hotel room to share costs.  My 2 cent vote is to leave the Tri-Cities as is.

Even though I don't have a backseat YET I would be for leaving it at Tri-cities.  It would be a new fishery for most of us.  And as Bob said it is the last away Tourney for the season.

If the cost is going to enter this subject then we might want to start planning for that for next season.

Otherwise I never get tired of Silver in Cowlitz county Grin  COME ON BIG 8.4 AND 8.8.  Right Rob?

Lack of available vacation time late in the year and gas prices are keeping me from going to any more Eastern events. So, a western location would work for me.

I'd like to fish Tri-Cities. Mark's computer is out of commission, so he can't respond here, but I know for a fact that he is looking forward to fishing Tri-Cities.

I understand this issue as a long commuter, but the lure of those Columbia R smallies makes this choice easy.  Tri-cities for me.  As for the comments regarding Chelan, I think the recent weights and stories make it a very desirable location for future events.  BTW, get used to paying 4-5 bucks for a gallon of gas Cry

Anyone know of any small lakes attached to campgrounds, I seem to have better luck on those then on big lakes.......
