Went out to Samammish today.  Started fishing around 9:15 am.  I couldn't have casted but 10 times when I saw a big bass come out some lily pads and check out my offering.  It didn't take her long and she sucked it in.  Anyone that fishes with me knows I don't use my baitcaster alot, but since I was throwing a Horny Toad I was.  Great fight, I don't think I have caught a fish over a pound on the baitcaster until now    She went 5.2 lbs on my digital scale  new personal best for me, which hopefully will be beaten again soon.

My brother was coming out wakeboarding, and I had a wakeboard in the boat when I caught the fish.  Do they bring good luck?
