Congrats on the new toy, likewise, my new wife bought a camera for me also and I will be headed out with Bill B onto lake Washington this morning to go play with the camera.  Good luck to your camering efforts....   If you are on Sawyer today, check out the hump out in the middle of the lake.....   from the boat launch head east  and slightly south.   There is a big concrete retaining wall across the lake.  Head for that and you will see your depth finder gradually getting shallower.  The shallowest point is about 25 ft out in the middle there.  All around it is break offs into deeper water.
