I found out that I'm getting old when I failed to stay wide awake all night long.

Glenn's wife caught the big one - a smallmouth of about 1 1/2 lbs. (my estimate), and I hate to be the one to say it, but the other (about a 1 lb. largemouth) was caught by a rookie - ME! 

I'll be going on the "Bass fishing seminar circuit" soon.  Let me know if any of you pros need any advice or anything.

Yup, I think you're right.  We had a major, major front move through the day before (actually, it didn't clear up 'till around 3pm on Saturday).  Heavy, heavy downpours, hail, lightening... the works.  The lake level rose about a foot according to one resident we spoke to.  The water wasn't nearly as clear as it usually is either.

Water temp was 75, but I don't know what it was the week prior.

I'm positive that front screwed them up.  Normally such a gin-clear lake that has heavy boat traffic during the day produces well on a warm summer night.

Yes, I dropped my pants periodically throughout the night. 

Oh wait, you mean the other moon!  Yeah, it was a half moon that started making an appearance around midnight.
