Shore fishing Lake Washington

I've heard that the best place to catch bass on Lake Washington are near the Arboretum and Husky Stadium. Ive fished the shoreline near the bridge to Marsh Island at least four times, and could only seem to catch one tiny largemouth.

Anyone have any tips on fishing on the shore there? I wish I had a boat.

adam,
gene coulen park is a great place. it has tons of rock and wood structure, and there are plenty of smallmouth in the area. try drop-shotting a sniper worm, and you should be able to catch em.

Adam,

Bottom line....shore fishing lake washington sucks....i've spent a lot of time at all the classic spots....UW, under the bridges, parks, and i've just lost expensive lures and had run-ins with freaky people. haven't tried gene coulon....if you find some fish, let me know. i wish i had a boat too man...i feel for ya.

tight lines,
danny
