Smacked a submerged log on Washington today.  Did not see anything until I hit it.  Minimal damage but it could have been bad had I been going full tilt.  For those of you that don't frequent Washingron in the winter be advised it is chock full of floating wood, all sizes.  Stay focused, God bless
Oh yeh, only managed one SM.  60ft, near the mill.  Tried much shallower too but no hits.

Glad you're alright.  Where were you when you hit it?

Near the west channel shore opposite the Mill but I was dodging them all over the east channel.  The stainless steel Skeggard I just installed (because the skeg is all but gone) did its job.  Saved what was left of the skeg and kept the prop free from damage.  Unfortunately the Skeggard is now a little loose. Not sure how, or if, I should fix it.
