Folks,
I live close to Evergreen Reservoir.  I know zilch about it.  What can anyone tell me?  I know some smallies, walleyes, and tigers are available, but not much else.  Anyone have any info?

Kirk,

I've driven up to the lake before, but never fished it. I have heard that it has many small largemouth to catch, but not much in the way of size. The muskies should be getting pretty big, though, since they have been in at least 5 years now...

Not much help, but I'd still like to hear how you do if you go. Why don't I just meet you sometime and we'll go fish the Tri-Cities Cheesy

Just another issue of work getting in the way of what I really want to do!!!  Let's take a look at sometime in early October, eh??  I would not mind a trip to Evergreen, then Scootney for some fall fishing.  We could base right from our house.

Glenn, do you remember Brad Johnson? Last address I have for him is in Elbe, in the 2000 membership list. He has fished Evergreen a lot, and once told me it was his favorite smallmouth lake. I've been there and looked at the launch once, but haven't fished it. My OFB went by there this Fall and said there was a (closed) gate across the road in, which seemed pretty strange. C&R, Steve

evergreen is a nice body of  water with a very good
variety of fish big/smallmouth,sunfish +muskie  Shocked
the  road in is dirt but has a very nice launch at the
west end with plenty of parking. this is another skag
ripen prop bending lower unit smackin lake . the
west end is full of rock. the inlet across from the
launch  has hidden rock piles  so use caution Grin
if your going to run  fast go strait out from launch
then left  in middle of lake. the shorline to the left
of the launch is very shallow until you get around
     the small islands Grin
