I fished Roesiger Lake on Sunday, went brimming with confidence after my first ever tournament limit at Roosevelt. Boom!!! Was I ever brought back to Earth with a bump!!

Dinks were everywhere (I lost count after about 20), but not a single keeper size fish to show for 13 hours on the water - I saw a couple of 2lbers in 5foot of water but could not get them to do more than nose down at my lures.

I saw one boat come in with a stringer of the biggest Perch I have seen in the last 3 years, I reckon there's a few Grand Slam sized Perch in this lake!!

Well, gotta start cleaning and polishing the boat for C.A.S.T. - see you there!!!!
