A former club member, John Holland and I fished the Col. River Friday launching near Crow Butte.  On the very 1st cast John landed an undersized SMB on a Pop-R.  That set the table for a 40 fish day of mostly average sized SMB'S THAT WERE FIESTY!  Fishing was quite good and the action was constant with most coming on RC 1.5's in Chart. W/Black backs.  Paca tiny craws in Watermelon w black flake and red pincers or Yamamoto twin tails which filled the Stratos livewell numerous times.  The fish were coming out of 3 to 8 ft of water around large rocks and off of the numerous small points that make up the part of the river between Arlington Or. and Boardman Or.
What was really nice was there was hardly a breeze on the water all day.  The club should really consider Crow Butte in our tournament schedule as the camping facilities are very nice and the fishing can be awesome at given times of the year.
There was a major NW "T" fished on the Tri-Cities pool on Saturday with mostly LMB,s weighed in.  Wolsky/Hobbs took 1st place with about 20 lbs in the high-water fast current pool.
