I went over to Toronto last week on business and flew over Banks on the way over, and Moses/Potholes on the way back. All were frozen over.

I've been thinking of trying for my Grandslam walleye over there. Sounds like a good time to give er a try. If anyones interested in going to the Potholes, let me know.

We fished like that years ago for walleye back in WI only we rowed. I rowed. Dad fished. LOL Used flatfish behind a set up similar to the Rev Rig. Count down Rapalas also work well to. Mark

Just got back from Potholes - and I know we're a Bass club, but I thought I should report that the Walleye fishing is superb. The main lake is 42 degrees and the water level is high. I managed to catch 9 fish total with the biggest fish being a 30 inch "eye" that weighed 8 lbs! I was only able to keep 3 fish because the other 6 were all over 22"! Any guesses on the technique?
Rev-Riggin" in 35-45 ft - works in more than one place and on more than one type of fish.
