Most likely, your 13lb rainbow was actually a late winter steelhead headed for the Methow.
Should have been lots of boats on Banks this week-end, first NW Bass tournament sponsored by Nixons Marine. Wonder how folks did?

Tigerfire crank bait. Deep diver. It was in about 15 ft of water. Weater was awesome. Hardly any wind at banks or Vantage.
Can't wait to get out again. It was 75 at Vantage today!
Now tell me how you got the pic to show? I put in the img src code and it did not work?

Sat. was the day. I caught this 2.6 SMB.
Water temp was still only 44 where I was fishing.
Sunday I fished near Vantage on the river. Did not fish long. And did not get any bass. But I did find some 50 degree water near the dam. I caught a 31 inch 13 pound rainbow or something on a crank bait. Looked just like a rainbow but huge. Not sure and turned it loose as all trout are closed in that area.
