I tend to use spray scents when the fish seem to be short striking my baits, or aren't quite hanging onto it as long as they should be. Otherwise i'm like Rob and just keep fishing away. When I do I go with a crawfish scent, since its a major forage in our state.

During the tough bite at Lake Chelan I grabbed the Berkley Gulp spray and used it. For the first time, I felt it made a difference.

Actually Angie on a serious note....I have always liked the smelly jelly in the "bass" scent but crawdad is good too. I like the consistency of the paste rather than a thinner spray or fluid of some other products. But I'm not too picky. Half the time I use nothing at all, just keep fishing away. Its all about confidence. The Berkeley stuff seems to eat away certain plastics in your boxes if it gets on stuff so I tend to stay away from it.
