I have a friend who goes over to Moses Lake and shoots carp with a bow and arrow and brings them back to a friend of his from Asia to eat. His wife told me that the record number he and his freinds have brought home in a weekend is 82 carp.

The real way to catch a carp is too hook it and have your wife/lady freind roll up her pant legs and grab the net and go in after it.

Actually I believe that is the recipe that Rob uses for his chili at the fish-ins.  Just add beans and franks.

Ever wondered what you can use to catch (if you really wanted to) Carp?  Here is a recipe:

2 cups cornmeal
3 tsps. Sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 pkg. strawberry gelatin
2 cups water
1 tbsp. vanilla

Mix together the dry ingredients, and then add water and Vanilla.  Stir well, until the gelatin is desolved.  Cook over a low to medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is quite stiff.  Form into balls.  Then all you have to do is press a ball of carp bait onto a hook and go fishing.

I don't really know what they taste like but darn it sure looks like they would be fun to catch.  Some of those at Silver are in the double digits.
