AmBassador program update

Hi ya floaters and non-floaters,

In an effort to keep within the confines of the AmBASSador program, this should be pretty short. Here is my news:

Last month's fish-in was graced by the faithful 10 that usually show up, as well as 4 boats. Two of the boats were almost brand spanking new, and it was great to have all attend. We trekked up to the north end and fished Lake Goodwin. Goodwin is a medium-sized lake that looks real fishy all the way around. By lunch time there were some nice keepers around 3-4 lbs that came in for the photo shoot, plus many others that were caught and released on the spot. As usual, the lunch visit was a good time and lots of laughs. It was good to have the new members and to get to know them better.

This next weekend's (July) fish-in will be at Pattison Lake, just this side of Olympia. I will give a report at the general membership meeting on the 17th.

Next month's fish-in will be at night. We will start fishing somewhere around 7-7:30 and go into the evening until about O'dark:30. If you have never fished at night you're missing some of the best fishing there is. I've gone out 4-5 times this month and get to brag of another 5 and 6 lb. smallie. I mainly use top water stuff at night so I have more control over the deeper hazards, and the suspense of that topwater explosion is a killer! Don't knock it until you've tried it. There are a lot of things most newbies worry about when night fishing, so join us on August the 2nd where there will be lots of other members to help you get over that fear of the dark.
BOO!......just kidding! The night fish-in lake was decided by those that attended the fish-ins, so if you would like to put in your 2 cents worth, come be heard for the next round.

Richard Loth has not missed a fish-in yet, but will be missed at our next fish-in and maybe even the general meeting. Richard is going in for another tune up to try and make his life a little more comfortable. Richard, I for one will be praying for skilled hands and a speedy recovery. We hope to have you back soon buddy. If you would like to send well wishes, go to the WBC web site. Once again hats, t-shirts, and tourney shirts can be ordered through me. And if you have already made an order come to the general meeting to pick it up. Don't forget your $$$.

Hope to see ya on the water and at the meeting.
