I hope everyone is getting out to catch a few fish. The next event is C.A.S.T. for Kids, on September 6th. This is an excellent opportunity for both boaters and non-boaters to participate in a very rewarding day. Make sure and mark your calendar now, and I will have the details in the August newsletter.

We also have a picnic set for Saturday, September 13th to celebrate our club's 65th anniversary (Note from Ed: This is a tentative date until confirmed by the park reservations office). This should be a great time to get together with club members, reminisce about the "good ol' days", and talk fishing. In lieu of any other special events, try and fill your back seat up with someone every time you go fishing and make each trip a special event. Until next time, keep the scent on your lures and the sunscreen on.
