Reminder:  Spring Canyon Boat Launch Fees...

Boat launch permits are required year-round at all Lake Roosevelt's National Park Service (NPS) boat launches. Visitors can purchase a “weekly pass”, good for seven consecutive days or an annual pass, good through December 31st of the year printed on the pass. Either can be purchased on pay.gov before entering the park.

Weekly Boat Launch Pass...

$8 / valid for 7 consecutive days from date of purchase ($4.00 with a valid America the Beautiful - The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Senior or Access pass)

Where to purchase: Online through "pay.gov" through a computer or smart phone. (Chuck suggests... Select "Visit a National Park" then type in "Spring Canyon Boat Launch" in the search box, then click on Lake Roosevelt NRA Weekly Boat Launch Fees). Each boat launch bulletin board has instructions on how to pay fees from a smart phone, as well as a QR link to the payment page. However, it is highly recommended that you purchase your launch permit before entering the park due to limited cell phone coverage.

Payment types accepted: Debit or credit card, bank account (ACH), Amazon account, or PayPal account

Please have the following information ready: name, address, email address, phone number, trailer license number and state, date of first use, Senior/Access pass number (if using discount), and payment information.

Chuck's note:  Hope this helps.  Like it says above, it has to be paid on line, and cell tower coverage is sketchy at the ramp.
