June 4th is the scheduled event at Gene Coulon Park. Let's get a head count of volunteers. I'm quite sure volunteers will be needed Friday evening to tie up rods too. A special permit was secured so we may help all these kids catch the big ones. Be there at 0730.

We need to see if someone can go to Auburn Sports and Marine with a cooler to pick up worms on Friday and bring them to the event... I will be working Fri-Sun. And cannot attend.... if you can do this post it here so Jessica can let ASM know who's coming....

How does this event work?  Are we helping from shore?  Are they fishing a pen?  Boats?

They attach a net pen with several thousand trout in it and we give 600-700 kids a rod, tackle box and a safety class and they get to catch 2 fish each. Gene Coulon beach park is the place.

Derek and I will be there Saturday morning and will be going for breakfast at the Renton Shari's at 6:30 AM beforehand, feel free to join us, and then will be at the event at 7:30.

Brad Johnson is picking up the worms and will deliver them Friday night, he's not sure yet if he will be at the event on Saturday.

It's a great event that is worthy of everyone's time and I know you will enjoy it if you attend.  Be sure to bring some pliers, something to cut line with and a rag.

SATURDAY, JUNE 4th, 7:30a-2:00p: Event Day

All Volunteers check-in at 7:30a, complimentary coffee/pastries provided.

Wish we could've been there.  We were in Spokane with a broken truck!  Sad
