After lots of input from long time club members, along with input from our first of the year meeting we are revamping the "Green Slips" program. Some things we didn't want to change from our history. Some we decided to budge on for the benefit of the club moving forward. While we all did not agree on everything. We came to a consensus of what would work best to increase participation. We have eliminated the Big Bass Kitty and Big Fish payout for two reasons. First those programs could be considered a contest and require a tournament permit from the state. Second is lack of participation.  Please read through carefully I tried to be as detailed as possible.

-Green Slips time frame will no longer be from meeting to meeting. A green slips time frame will be from the 1st of the month to the end of the month.

-Green slipped fish from 1 March-October 31 will be used to determine "Big Fish" and "Stringer of the Year" awards. Green slips of Grand Slam qualifying fish are still year round and you will receive a certificate for them at the annual awards banquet.

-Your scale must be certified by the Green Slips Director annually prior to submission of Green Slip and recorded in the book. It is YOUR responsibility to +/- the difference before weight is submitted.

-Green Slip(s) will be posted in the members section of the WBC web site under the Green Slips/Big Bass tab with a picture. Photo shopped pictures not allowed, (nothing crazy detailed, just you holding the fish to post on sites. If a 10lb fish looks 2lbs I don't care I'm going to trust you).

-The info on the fish given must include what the original green slips ask for:
     Species
     Date Caught
Name of lake/City (this information will be posted in members only section of WBC web site and location edited out for the WBC Facebook page.)
     Weight in lbs/oz
     Lure
     Witness (If available)

-If no witness are available remember, Your word is your word.

-Bass must be caught in Washington State publicly accessible waters.
