Where would everyone like to go for this fish-in?  Need suggestions.  I'd be open to checking out Tapps.

Well talked to a resident at the lake. The lake won't be dropped till October 31 this year. And they are only going to drop it 4 feet as to not shock the fish again. With that being said I agree with Larry to let the lake be for the year so it can be as healthy as possible for next year. On thar note wherever the fish in is I will be there LOL! I'd say somewhere with some deeper water.

Look at the recent tournament results on Lake Tapps,  it is going to take a few years plus for it to make a come back.

The results showed all small fish.  I thought all the small fish were supposed to be eaten up by the remaining larger fish.  Survival of the fittest/biggest kind of thing.

As the lake was drawn down the big bass and tigers headed to deep water leaving small fish trapped in smaller pools. The bigger bass where then eaten by the tigers. Then the bigger tigers starved with no food available. Then the lake levels rose with only a few surviving small fish left.

I forgot about the Tigers, seems like a reasonable explanation Rodney.  Thanks Rodney!

I know there just fish....But maybe the saddest story ive read. Makes sense.....so a historically great big largemouth lake becomes an exclusive smallmouth lake because of the musky....Then the lake becomes a mostly Musky lake because of the musky..........I  wish the musky could all just be put in mayfield and leave the rest of the lakes alone. People get mad at the bass for so called eating all the stupid trout. It's an absolute joke. These musky annihilated two entire species of fish...truly sad.... Cry

I guess that's what happens when you mess with Mother Nature. But hopefully the predator/prey relationship will prevail, meaning the bass will come back.
