Night fish in

I was wondering if anyone would show up to a Night fish in. I'd like to do it sometime in July or August.  It will be seperate from the normal fish in. Also if anyone knows of any good nite lakes, with nite access I would appreciate the input. Usually I just launch and then park my truck out on the street, because the accesses are normally closed during hours of darkness, but the lake itself is open 24hrs. However, a bunch of trucks n trailers might draw too much attention, especially if they are parked at a launch that's supposed to be closed. Anyone have any good ideas about how to go about doing this?

Feel free to chime in with any good Ideas. Cool

Thanks

Black Lake is good and Lawrence. Try calling the Sheriff's  dept. and asking about it. They always told me it was ok as long as I was on the water fishing and not camping. I'm in for this, just say when and where.                                                                                                                                       Nightbasser.

I think it's a great idea, and one we have excersized in the past.  I have done more night fishing in the last few years, with limited success, so I'm always looking to try again.  I would try my best to make it.

Almost all of my night fishing is at Sawyer.  It's open all night and has a good mix of smallies and largies.  I'm down as well.

I like the sound of lake Lawrence, and I'm glad to see some people taking interest in the Night fish in. We could actually do this twice this year if you want. I kinda do. I'll have to contact Thurston Co. Sherriff's dept. and see what they say about it before setting this one in stone though.

Thanks guys, if you have any more suggestions about different lakes that might be fun to night fish they are still welcome. I probably won't be contacting the sherriff's dept. for a few more days, so I can get some more ideas and input on the subject from you guys.

Does Lake Lawrence sound good to you?

I like the night fish in idea.  I fished one back in 1992 when I first moved here on Lake Spannaway and did well. Sawer would be my first choice, but Lake Lawrence or any of the others would be fine as well.  I suggest early to mid July.  Count me in !!!

We've had night fish-ins on Sawyer, Goodwin, and Washington. All were fun despite limited fishing success. Sawyer would be my top choice.

So who is still in for the night fish in?

It should be alot of fun, unless it rains; in which case we should probably move the date. But as for now I'll be there on the 13th, at Lake Sawyer.

Okay...here is a poss. glich...Lake Sawyer boat launch is closing August 15th thru Sept. 15th to replace the launch ramp....they are supposed to be putting in a panelized slab launch so we will have to watch and see if they start early or start setting up equipment early....I dont think they will move up the time as folks who live on the lake need time to take they're boats off before the closure....will post more if I see it. Larry.

Thanks Larry. That's good info. Hopefully everything works out, and we can all catch some giant night bass!
