CAST for Kids - Lake Washington

September 11th is the date for this year's CAST event at Gene Coulon park.  For those of you that have been there before Ireally don't need to say anything, you already know what a worthwhile and fun event it is.  For those of you that have never been, I'd like to invite you to come and be part of a special needs child's very special day.  I guarantee that you will come away from it with a sense of satisfaction that you may never have felt before because of the wonderful opportunity you giving these kids.

If you can make it please let me know.  The more boaters we have the more kids we can invite.  Boaters should leave their boats on the trailers, park them in the boat trailer parking lot for free, then meet up near Kidd Valley.  You should be there by 7:30am.

On a seperate note.  If you are really interested in doing an event like this we also have one at Potholes State Park on August 7th. Contact me for more info on this event.

Thankx in advance!!!!

I will be there.  Room for one adult and one kid, preferably normal to small size.  I have a carpeted glovebox instead of a center seat now, but they can sit on the throw cushion and I won't let them fly out I promise.   Tongue

What is the deal with everyone mentioning the kind of boat they have?  Does it really matter? I will be there in MY boat with room for plenty of fish and a GIANT smile from the little one that I am fortunate enough to take out.....

For my part, I want make sure that they know how many people they can fit. My layout allows for 2 kids and an adult in addition to me. With the flat floor layout I might even be able to handle a wheelchair if I can pry the post seat from the floor (hasn't been removed for a few years.

... and Lunds are awesome.  Cool
