Well guys I was seriously going to make a last minute charge to make it to this tournament, but I checked my calendar and I had made plans months ago for that weekend.  I am going to my best friend since kindergarden's first demolition derby race at the Clallum Co Fair.  Should be a good time I guess    I never fished the columbia river, though I test drove my boat at tri-cities, so I wanted to explore more than anything.  Next year for sure.

Its not the boat ramp you have to worry about, its the boats stretched across the river that you have to idle through to get to your fishing spot. Also, morning fog could be a factor.

Well the Snodgrass crew won't be making the trip to the Columbia tournament. The boat motor has a froze up air injector pump and they have to order one. Thank god for the warranty, the pump cost $1000.

I wish everyone well at this one and I'm really sorry I can't make it, I'd have loved to fish this one...  Looks like I'll be starting a different job on September 1st so I'll be busy wrapping things up for my current employer this weekend.
