Each year I get asked at the March meeting about the  Mt. St. Helens Bass Club  Open in April each year. It is a 35 boat maximum and is already 50% full, so do not wait to get your entry in, we have had to turn folks away, that did not pre-register. 35 boats is a state max.

For all of you that have fished Silver Lake you know the best time of the year is typically the end of April to the end of May.  This tournament is a couple of days before the full moon, and with our good winter/spring weather, I am expecting some really good numbers this year. Should be right in the heart of the first wave of spawners.

Each year this is one of the very best raffles in the state, and there's always something extra, like last years Easter Egg hunt on the lake, for prizes.  Ask anyone you know that's fished it, its really a great time.
