OK, Jon I know you are one Texan who is climatized to Washington winter fishing (insulated Guide Wear) or are suffering x-treme cabin fever. I have been lookin at the calendar, the first weekend of the month is the traditional week end for a fish-in.  Well the first saturday is January 2nd. Then the banquet is the next saturday January 9th. The Puyallup Sportsman Show runs January 27 - 31. Considering the Holiday, Banquet, Sportsmans Show and after researching the historical aspects of the start of the new year I have made my first decision as the 2010 Ambassador Director!!!!

Ok gentleman, we will have a special guest joining us.  A U.W. grad student would like to go out with us and catch some smallies and squawfish for a study she is doing.  She needs about 4 smallies and 4 squawfish.  When you catch a fish please fizz it and take it back to the launch.  She will be able to gather up the fish and use them in a study she and her prof's are doing about salmon predation.  The smallies will be released back into lake washington and the squawfish, well,  I didn't make her promise to release those alive.  If you need a spare fizzing needle I should have one.
