Hey Guys and Gals,

Last points tournament this month at Lake Chelan.

Event Headquarters Kamei Resort on Wapato Lake.

Boat Launch Wapato Point Park.

I might have designated a 6:30 a.m. drivers meeting in the newsletter so I am goin to stick with 6:30 a.m. It might be a little early but at least we will get on the water before daylight. Well, before any topwater bite is over. Roll Eyes

Phil,

I thought the ramp was called Mill Bay? Am I wrong? Undecided

Looking forward to this event. Hopefully the wind will not be a factor like it was a couple of years ago.

Just confirming locations so I can plug in my GPS.
The resorts http://tiny.cc/XWoMl
The Launch http://tiny.cc/SsQKK
When I did map the route it did not send me over the Beebe Bridge & that good because its closed Thanks for the heads up on that Bob.
If I get my suspension parts for the truck in time then I will be there ready to put some hogs in the boat.

Hey Phil....FYI- safe light is 6:15am...I know that because I was over there Saturday.  Having the drivers meeting at 6:30am and not launching until most likely 7:00am I think is too late....it's definitely going to hurt the topwater action that's for sure.... Sadbut hey, I'm easy, if it's too late to switch the time at this point then that's the way it goes.

I look forward to seeing everyone over there... Smiley

Bob

Thanks Bob,

I saw that myself. Sad  I was there Friday and saw how light it was but it is to late to change.

I want everyone to get there boats in the water before the meeting because its going to be a short one.

Hey Phil,

Lets make it real short. The top H2O action there can be dynamite this time of year.

No prob Phil...I understand.  I will help expedite the process by having my boat in the water.
It looks like we may have some wind and possibly some rain on Saturday....bring it on...it's going to be fun.   Smiley

Was quite surprised to see such a low turnout for one of the best and last points tourneys of the year. Great weather, several fish over 5 lbs caught, no skiers, and lots of sun made for a great time.

1st - Troy- 20.38 lbs
2nd - Russ Baker-19.72
3rd - Brian Hudgens- 18+
4th - I think Brian Olson - Big fish 5.58
5th- Angie Dover
6th ?
7th - Henry Dover
8th- I think Bob Payseno

Missed Chris B, Mays, Holmes, Oday, Poplaski, Maderos, Snodgrass, Smitty, etc.
