I just got off the phone with Kamei resort on lake Wapato and they said they were closed the day after labor day.

Are we staying somewhere else for our club tournament?

Thanks Russ. We had the same problem last time in sept. and arraingments were made to keep the power on for boats. I don't know about the restrooms and I'm sure the store will be closed.

Please send me their number and I will give them a call.

Thanks

Ok Clubbers,

This is the scoop for Lake Chelan in September.

I called Kamei Resort. They Officially close for reservations immedietely after Labor Day. They are aware Western Bass Club is fishing Lake Chelan in September and the restrooms and campsites (with Power) will be available. The store is the only facility that will not be open.

Reservations are not required and a facility representative will come around and collect payment for each individuals camping.

Thanks Russ for asking the questions so adequate research can be done.

There rates are next to nothing.  Less than 20 bucks if I recall.  A great place.....

half the field in that tourney knew where we were fishing cause they were fishing it too.  just most would fish right past it too quickly and we would soak out baits and mop up a fish or two each time we visited.  if the bite is anything like the weekend prior to that tourney then it will be a great tourney.  swimbaits!

i seem to remember you finishing second too kirk.
