Any details, or is everyone still trying to recover emotionally from the Silver Lake tourny ?

Unoffcially:

1st - Mark Brown with 10-11lbs
2nd -Kegan (sorry forgot last name) just shy of Mark's weight
3rd - Yours truly with 7.5lbs  (yeah, my first WBC hardware)
Big fish - Kegan 7.8lbs

Ray

Tough bite!  The high pressure after the cold front really slowed the fishing down.

Good job to all! I am glad to hear that those of us that were at Potholes were not the only ones dealing with a tough bite.

Myself and the boys blanked both days, it was a really tough weekend.  We did enjoy ourselves although a fish or two would have made it even better!

Congrats to Mark too!

Cheers!&&&&Andy

the sad thing about this tourney is that as some boats can attest.  was that late sunday alot of fish were moving around and trying to warm up.  i really think if we had started today it would have been a really special tourney.  but as is fishing you cant predict the fish.

I agree totally Troy, fishing should be hot for awhile now.  I think Phil hit it on the head at the end of the day sunday when he said the little cold front saturday morning and a high pressure front sunday.  I think the fish were a little confused and I would like to go down this weekend and check it out but unfortunately I cant make it down.  Sad

Oh ya and Larry Sullivan won the prefish by a mile if anyone was wondering how prefish went!  Wink

Its good to see a beat down is normal after a cold front hammers your fish. Cheesy Cheesy. I still enjoyed every second of fishing this last weekend. Got my vitamin D, some great laughs, saw some great wild life, and just plain relaxed.

Beat down or not I will always fish this time of year and expect the best.

I agree with all who fished the Silver Lake draw, it was a tough bite, but its fun learning how to catch them in changing conditions.  Also the conversations and pizza was good. Mark congrats on first place.
