Saw that the April fish in will be on the 4th on American.  I will be there looking for a backseat.  So have the other details been decided (time/ramp/breakfast?)?  Thanks, Jon

Found my own answer in the newsletter...

Jose will meet you all at the Shari’s Restaurant at 5 AM at I-5 and 72nd street in Lakewood-Tacoma (Exit 129) then off to the launch at 6:30 AM......Directions to the launch are From I-5 South
Take the Berkeley exit 4.8 miles south of hwy 512.
Turn right off the exit and go forward till the road ends When you are forced to turn right or left GO LEFT there's a signs that says public fishing <---> but don’t worry about that just go left. After you turn left the road will curve to the right, take the next left. It looks like you are about to enter the military base down a dirt road but that's where the launch is. There is a white gate that will be open so just drive down.

Still can use this post for roll call though:

Man, I'll still be in Disneyland but I'll be sad to miss this fish-in, it's close and I used to fish American all the time.  Hope you guys catch a bunch!!

Any recommendations on what else I should tie on besides jerkbaits?   Anybody need a backseater?

Thanks, Jon

Larry, great to not have you miss a hot fish-in.  You got to be getting a bad case of hook set fever for them bass with a southern drawl.

I was on American today, hit the water about noon. Warmest water temp was 47.3. Took in a weigh in of the tourney there today, some good fish where caught. The word was that the bite happens between 9 and 11. The smallmouth are in the early stages of staging for prespawn. I was on the water till 6, no bass caught by me, just some agressive slimmers.  It only gets better from here now.
