First time I have seen largies in March in less than two feet of water. Paystoknow and I hit Lake Kathleen today. We both had our chances on 3+ 4 lbers but we were both rusty.

Last time I checked there is not a launch on that lake, does one of the two of you live on it?  Nice to hear that some of the fish are as confused about the weather and fishing as I am lately.

i have been seeing some largies up in very shallow water for 3 weeks now. i live on a lake, about 37 acers. i have been checking the water temp every day. when the temp got around 40-45. i started to see some up in the heavy cover with there back fin almost out of the water. they are only coming up when its sunny out, trying to get warmed up. they are very easly spooked.
