I don't understand why more people didn't get spots at Cascade.

We're staying at Potholes State Park so we can carp fish at night! Wait... did I just say that out loud?  Lips Sealed

Any ideas as to what the winning weight will be for the Moses tournament. We should be hitting it during the largie spawn and less on the smallie spawn.

My guess is 28 lbs.

I spoke to Donna at Warden's Resort - they had 3 spaces open specifically for boat/trailer rigs as of Thursday. If anyone is looking for a spot, give them a call.

Anyone wanting to stay at Warden Lake Resort let me know. I will see if I can get people in. I will be staying there if I can make the tourney. 253-606-3489

I skimmed through the tournament rules in the new member handbook and I didn't see any length restriction for rods.

Where can I find the new member handbook?

If you make a meeting Larry S may have one for you, or PM Larry and maybe he can get you one at an upcoming tourny.

Russ,

That sounds like the voice of experience.....  I had a feeling you might be an undercover carp guy!

Jeff,

Yup thats right. One of the first times I fished that lake I skipped way under a dock, felt a thump and set the hook. Thought I had hooked a state record bass. This fish had me under that dock for about 3-5 minutes then comes shooting out at full speed. Now at this time I still don't see the fish. After about a 15 minute fight it ends up being about a 25-30 lb Carp.

I was plum wore out after that.

Russ, You've been fishing Moses Lake for 25 years. You should have known it was a carp.... Especially when you're skipping doughballs under docks   Wink
