X tools grip n weigh repair?

My xtools scale broke.  Anybody know where/how to get it fixed?

Some inside black spacer piece that looks like an flattened "O" boke in half... essentially making 2 u pieces.  I tried to take it apart but could not figure out how to remove the spring since it has some pin holding it in place?  Everything else seems to be working fine... but w/out this piece it will not open/close properly.

Any help would be appreciated.  - Jon

If you bought it recently maybe take it back to the vendor or go to the website and look at shipping it back....maybe a warranty issue.

Maybe Dune, but I am not sure I want to invest in something that breaks.  xtools has still not gotten back to me.

I sold off my original x-tools scale.  I didn't like it how it had a little 5 second delay, then it told the weight.  I found it to be very inaccurate.  Last year I saw someones x-tools at the meeting and it gave a real time weight which was nice.  One button on the unit is different if it is the newer style.

Finally heard back from pure fishing:
"We don't repair scales, if you have had it less than a year you can send
it in and they will send you out a new one."

So it looks like I am out of luck unless someone locally knows where/how to repair.
