	Two weeks before the tourney and my guys are plowing snow in Kittitas County. Could be a similar story as last year, cold'er than crud. I spent last week in Arizona, sunning and playing golf in 80+ weather. Now THAT is springtime weather. What the heck happened around here?

	It definitely didn't feel like spring in the Columbia Basin last weekend. I was hiking and camping near Quincy and had to do jumping jacks in the morning to stay warm... Still lots of snow on the Colockums... not a good sign!

	It has been pretty quiet here in the Potholes Smackdown area. Whats up with that? Only 4 days till practice day. They are forcasting 70 + degrees all three days. I am thinking this is the year the good largemouth guys will rule. Forget those smallies I think big largies win it this year and I do mean big. Is it possible for a two day total of 52 to 55 pounds? I think the stars are finally lined up for just that to happen. I am thinking that perhaps you may need nearly 40 pounds just to be in the money? What do you experts that were over there this last weekend think? In any case good luck to everyone involved. I am looking forward to a great tourney and some big uns' being brought to the scale by many. I am hoping that myself and all of my friends here are among them. See you all next weekend!
