This is the first one that I have caught in January, it was very light colored, and lethargic.  We tried to take a picture of it, but both sets of batteries for the camera were not working (too cold).  Let's see if we can catch more during our fish in this month.

Hey Larry, I know your belly is still from the banquet and food isn't on your mind, but have you decided where the breakfast meeting place is going to be for the 17th?  What exit will we take?  See ya Thursday nite.

Hey Ya'll...Lake Washington is the place and Meet at the Denny's at I-405 and 44th at 6AM for Breakfast and at 7:30 at the East Mercer Launch to pair-up and hit Lake Washington.
Water levels should have stabilized but with the volume of rain and snow melt who knows.

I was on the lake this afternoon testing some lures for Sebile Corp to demo at the sports show.  The south end is muddy and has a lot of floating debris. Shocked  Be very careful!!! Undecided

What I'm trying to tell folks is that there is really a considerable hazard from floating debris and deadheads etc. in the lake as a result of the flooding Cedar river which is continuing to dump crap into the lake.
I have never made it a practice to promote any of the products I represent or am sponsored by, on our club's private web-pages.  The club has however benefited from several of my affiliations in the way of raffle prizes and give-aways for example.
Remember all the fluorocarbon line at the banquet raffle?

i second smitty's comments.  there is alot of wood in the water in the south end.  much of it is small but there were some serious logs floating about as well.  just be carefull because if there is some chop on the water its gonna be hard to see.  hopefully see you guys saturday as i heard sammamish is high and dirty so i think ima fish wa.

I JUST CAME BACK FROM A INSPECTION TOUR OF THE SEAPLANE BASE AT THE MOUTH OF THE CEDAR.  ALTHOUGH the river is now about 4" below flood stage, it continues to pump out large amounts of debris.  The Renton seaplane base is in danger of being silted in and blocked with tree stumps and logs.  The canoe & kayak building is completely silted in on the west side.  There has been a large and significant change in the lake topography over near the airport. Undecided
