Was just wondering if we have voted for our 2009 lakes yet?  Haven't been to a meeting in awhile and I thought there was some talk about doing these during the september meeting this year?

I think these were our "first" Choices:

May: Potholes
June: Banks
July: Lake Roosevelt
Aug: Banks
September: Potholes
October: Lake Washington

Someone please correct me if I'm incorrect on any of these lakes.

Chris- I think those lakes came up as "second choices" for some months.  We may actually end up fishing some of these places because we had a lot of conflicts last year with our "first" choices....ya never know. Roll Eyes

yes i know not the best place to voice this but...if we could figure out a camping situation whatcom in may can yeild quality smally bags. two of my biggest bags ever weighed in were at whatcom.  it takes thirty pounds to sniff a win on whatcom in may.  with that said im already excited about our tournies next year  Smiley

Troy,

If we ever hit the Potholes during great weather in May it would take 50 lbs to win it.

I'm with you Troy...I would love to fish Whatcom in May if Potholes doesn't work out for some reason. We haven't fished Whatcom since I've been in the club (7years).   We should at least have one tournament on a body of water that hasn't been fished in 3+ years... that way we keep some variety in the schedule.

I think Whatcom would fit this criteria quite nicely. Smiley

Didn't Phil take the votes home to tally them? How would we already know which lakes won?

I'm sure he will announce them at the meeting on Thursday.

Russ i dont know about fifty but forty i could see  Tongue i gotta see a bag over twenty before i can see one over 25...

payseno im with you i like seeing unfamiliar waters on the schedule every now and then.

stu, at the potholes tourney phil and the rest of those whom attended went over the tourny picks and cleared up any problems with the voting.  the reasoning was because of the time table things needed to be sent in swiftly to ensure we got our selections in on time.
