Thanks for the correction Jack- I thought you and Troy for some reason fished together last year during the frostbite.  I guess it must have been the scholarship tourney I was thinking of.

You guys are going to rip the fish. If you don't have atleast 19lbs something is wrong. Just remember the fish are deep.

Well it was a good time, and I enjoyed my 2nd trip to Banks.  A WBC member took the victory, I will let the higher powers give a detailed report.   I also learned a yellow pissed off Triton can run through the rough stuff and chase all the other boats down.

Took 23 lbs to get paid.  Bob and I weighed 22.19 for the week-end.  Solid 2 lb + average.  It was a treat to see everyone again.  The fall bite is pretty darned good at Banks.  We caught fish from 8 feet to 30 feet.  Most of the solid keepers came from 20-25.  Weather was darn good, a bit of a breeze yesterday, but not unmanageable.  Cold fingers and fizzing fish.

good job WBC guys, we showed ourselves well again.  Stu and I didn't catch very many fish, as the water temp was very warm for this time of the year.  The fish hadnt moved in numbers to our honey hole.  We caught about 10 fish each day.  But they were quality fish and we were able to get 12+ lbs each day and finished with 24.73 and took home 2nd place.  Thane and Phil Johnson had an awesome 1st day with a 14.4 lb sack and followed it up with 11+ on day two  for the victory with 25.5 lbs.  We caught all our fish in 35 to 39ft of water with carolina, dropshot and leadheads with grubs on a variety of green colored baits.

Stupid question, who puts on the Frostbite tounament ?  I didn't see or hear a club that was sponsoring it.  And will the results be posted online anywhere ?
