OK its done deal today I got a new/used boat 1999 Triton 17ft with a 115 Johnston Its a great ride I am very happy with the way it handles.Could use little more room up front The leg room at the console is huge. Still need to get a Depth finder & Life Vest  We test drove it at lake Spanaway & stayed to fish the lake most the day only got a bunch of dinks. The 12/24 65lb Minnkotoa pulls that boat around with no problems.

I think you will be very satisfied with the new ride John.  As an added bonus that I did not mention in my IM to you about the boat, folks can now ask;
"How's your Johnson?" Smiley Smiley

Congrats and welcome to the family. You have now upgraded and you need to enjoy your new boat. The next boat is the one that will hurt the most. It will have to be faster, newer and bigger.

Congrats

Took the new ride out yesterday 9-1 for first run with the family. I knew I would not get much good fishing in too busy running & working the bugs out. Boat handles great water was rough do to wind & other boat traffic but we cut right thru the waves only had one spine crunch when I jumped a wave to fast. Got her up too 55mph on speedo with all 3 of us in it. We drove long way only used 1/4tank I am trying to use up the gas because its been sitting long time.
Fishing was very tough & I talked to 3 other bass boats same story all dinks.
Kill switch not working
Some water getting in from the drain plug I think

Best part was to hear the screams & see the smile on Rebecca's face.

No dinks in my boat, just a 3.5 lber that day  Tongue  Tough cold weather for Labor day.  I like the looks of the boat John, hope to look it over and fish from it someday.

Very nice, John.  I am extremely happy for you.  Water through the plug might be from livewell connections as they can become quite loose.
