Did Potholes sunday after doing the fish-in on sat. (good times), saw Chris and Terry in the dunes. After moving around a bit I found a couple of fish crusing but didn't put anything in the boat with the exception of a couple of carp... Huh warmest water I found was 64*  Smileyaverage was 55*. Looking forward to this weekend if the weather does what it is suppost to. Cheesy

Okay Brian, I'll "bite".  How did you catch a couple carp?  Tell me about your technique and presentation.  Verticle horizontal,  or bow and arrow?

Ray, the first one I hooked was back by the spillway in crab creek, had a bunch of walleye guys around me while I was flipping the brush with a Jig, they got a kick out of it when I finally got it to the boat (18 lbs.) The second was in medicare beach, it brushed my jig while I was doing some more flipping and got a hook in the side. (His fault... Roll Eyes) good fight though. Wink Saw some smallies in there but they were spooky as heck. Tongue

With this high pool and all the new beaver huts you guys are going to spank them. If you find a hut with 3-4 ft of water on it you better hang on to your rod because you are going to wack them.

Tubes, senko's, jig N pigs and and occasional swim bait or spinner bait is all your going to need for these fish.

Have fun.

I'll be thinking about you guys while I'm shellin 40lbs of crawfish.
