I know it's early but I can't wait to fish Banks in May again.

I can hear Kirk hooping and yelling when he gets a big smallie to bite his favorite colored topwater bait. Or the roar of an outboard in the parking lot at 5am in the morning to wake everybody up? Or even the wind at at Barkers Flat? I can't wait!

I made reservations already at the Grand Coulee Motel. So I am in and ready to fish.

It is the Washington State Bass Federation Jamboree, memorial day weekend at Banks Lake.

It is a large "Family Friendly" Tournament that is also club competition. Clubs Compete for bragging rights. IT has a raffle, big seminar, overall it is a big bass fishing event that involves the whole family.
