Frostbite Open - Banks Lake - November 3-4

The Frostbite Open is coming up again on Nov. 3 and 4. (for info Ken Rundel, (360) 770-0836)

Who's in? Huh

Mark M and I plan to fish it again this year.

Yes, we will have 5 - 10 watches and clocks on the boat, but...

How about this to mess up the time-challenged: The change from daylight saving time to standard time takes place this year at 2 a.m. on Nov. 4 (the Sunday of this 2-day tourney)! That means that we "fall back" and get an extra hour of sleep, but more importantly, it means that there is a greater potenital to mess up and miss the weigh-in! Check your times on both days and don't miss your launch or weigh-in. I assure you that we won't. Wink

Notes on daylight saving time: From 1986 to 2006 this was the first Sunday in April to the last Sunday in October, but starting in 2007, it is observed from the second Sunday in March to the first Sunday in November, adding about a month to daylight saving time.

Thanks for the heads up on the motel.  Got my reservation today. Smiley  Can't wait for this one.  I have heard it is a blast to fish.

ME and my buddy LEvi are considering fishing it. It depends on if I get new tires and how far my football team goes. If we dont go to the playoff's then I will fish it.

Does anybody know which motels still have openings, or are they not very packed at all?

I wish I could be there to kick all your a""'s  in poker Roll Eyes, but oh well it will have to be next year. Best of luck to all of you. Make WBC proud.

Its going to take atleast 24-26lbs to win it.

I am going in for knee surgery Cry Cry in a couple of weeks and doing screw show during the tournament.

Good Luck,

Russ

Thanks D.J. and Jack for correcting me....sounds like we'll be having a pretty good WBC representation again this year.  Hopefully someone from our club can bring home the big hardware this year...we have been getting closer each year.

The poker should also be a lot of fun...I'm really looking forward to this event.

Bob
